Definitions and Interpretation

 

THE GRLS ATL, LLC is meant to include the Co-Presidents, Executive Team, and active members in good financial standing.

 

Executive Team consist of Co Presidents, Membership Services Chair, Hospitality Chair,

Treasurer, Planning Chair, and Secretary.

 

References to “us” and “we” are to include THE GRLS ATL, LLC Co-Presidents and Executive Team.

 

“You” references THE GRLS ATL, LLC members.

 

Rules mean rules to THE GRLS ATL, LLC. Rules are posted in the THE GRLS ATL, LLC membership guide, and covers matters such as member decorum, member to member communication, privacy, participation, dues, social media platforms, etc.

 

 

Access to THE GRLS ATL, LLC

 

Each active member will be charged a fee of $25 per month/$245 annually.  As an active member, in good standing, you are entitled to exclusive access to THE GRLS ATL, LLC private Facebook group, job board, newsletter, event calendar, free business promotion and members only event invitations.

 

As THE GRLS ATL, LLC, we reserve the right to revoke membership for any reason if a member fails to obey a rule or regulation as outlined in the THE GRLS ATL, LLC membership guidelines, cause a disturbance, leak private member information, misrepresent THE GRLS ATL, LLC, use THE GRLS ATL, LLC logo, brand or trademark without prior approval, or fail to pay membership dues.

 

In order to become a member of THE GRLS ATL, LLC, members must be at least 21 years of age, live in the Atlanta or metro Atlanta area, and be current on all dues and/or fees.

 

Membership Dues

 

Active members are required to pay a monthly fee of $25 per month/$245 annually. Dues not paid within 7 days of due date will be in violation of THE GRLS ATL, LLC membership rules, and will include revocation of membership, or placed on inactive status. Membership dues cover, and are not limited to group activity, subsidize event cost, website/social media maintenance and upkeep, marketing, etc.

 

Members can cancel their monthly membership at any time.  However, cancellation must be received within seven (7) days of payment in order to be eligible to receive a refund.  Cancellations received after the 7 day deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

 

By signing this agreement, I authorize THE GRLS ATL, LLC to charge my monthly dues to the credit or debit card on file. I agree to keep a valid and current credit card on file which my monthly dues are authorized to be made.  In the event that my credit card account on record with THE GRLS ATL, LLC expires or is no longer valid, I further agree to immediately furnish a valid card, or forfeit my membership with THE GRLS ATL, LLC.

 

THE GRLS ATL, LLC reserves the right to change our membership fees at any time and any change will be immediately effective for new members and effective upon renewal of membership for existing members at the beginning of the calendar year.

 

Participation

 

As an active/paying member of THE GRLS ATL, LLC you agree to attend at least 1 event per month, or 2 per quarter.  As a form of sisterhood and bonding, you agree to actively participate in THE GRLS ATL, LLC social media platform such as Instagram, private Facebook group, and Telegram.  In addition, in the event that you RSVP to an event, you agree to either cancel timely, or pay for your portion divided per person, based on party size. As an active member you agree to not block any member of THE GRLS ATL, LLC Executive Team on any social media platform, or to speak in a disparaging manner about THE GRLS ATL, LLC, its active members, or Executive Team.

 

THE GRLS ATL, LLC reserves the right to limit the number of members or guests that may attend an event or activity. THE GRLS ATL, LLC also reserves the right to cancel or change the date, time, activity or venue for any reason, including but not limited to number of participants, COVID restrictions, or situations where the required number of participants have not been met.

 

By attending an event or activity, you consent to use of your photo, image, likeness, name, social media handle on THE GRLS ATL, LLC website social media, promotional material or any of THE GRLS ATL, LLC affiliates or sponsors.

 

When contacting other members to arrange or meet, before or after an event or activity, or outside of THE GRLS ATL, LLC social platform, you agree to use caution you would undertake when meeting other people you do not know and acknowledge and agree that THE GRLS ATL, LLC shall have no responsibility or liability in connection with such communication or meetings.

 

Membership Notification

 

The club utilizes electronic mail and social media channels to keep members aware of club news, changes, events, activities and more. Members should keep a valid email address on file with THE GRLS ATL, LLC and should mark info@THEGRLSATL, and membership@THEGRLSATL email as verified with their email provider to avoid spam filters.  THE GRLS ATL, LLC has no obligation to send communication via paper mail.

 

THE GRLS ATL, LLC Name and Likeness

 

You agree as a member, while conducting business for THE GRLS ATL, LLC, to not misrepresent yourself or THE GRLS ATL, LLC in any public or private setting.  You agree as a member to not use THE GRLS ATL, LLC logo, brand, or trademark, publicly or privately without prior approval from THE GRLS ATL, LLC Co Presidents or Executive Team. Violating this rule, will result in immediate termination of membership.

 

Content Creation

 

By becoming an active member of THE GRLS ATL, LLC, you agree to allow THE GRLS ATL, LLC to use your name, social media handle, location (Atlanta) in social media campaigns on any and all social media platforms. In addition, you agree to not request that your name or likeness be removed at a later date. Any removal must be agreed upon by the Executive Team of THE GRLS ATL, LLC.

  

Communication

 

The views and opinions that may be expressed by members of THE GRLS ATL, LLC do not reflect those of the Co Presidents or Executive Team. You also agree to refrain from engaging in the following types of behaviors towards other members, including, but not limited to: invasion of privacy, harassment, public embarrassment, engaging in threatening and/or violent behavior, etc.
