Cecilia Hodges, Ponce Chapter
“Being a part of the THEGRLS has truly changed my life. I am new to the Atlanta area and found it difficult to connect with others during Covid. My favorite part is the sisterhood, community support and themed events. We come in all shapes, sizes, ages and interest. All are welcomed and celebrated. I love it here! "
Tashnique Artrey, Piedmont Chapter
"To be apart of an organization that actually lives up to its mission statement is something I’m truly proud of. I was hesitant to join due to the negative stigmas surrounding Black women, but I’m glad I took a step out on faith & gave The GRLS a chance. I’m surrounded by women who GENUINELY care about each other & constantly uplift one another, all while giving back & having a great time. I’m pleased to be here & I’m looking forward to building more relationships. "
Sydney Williams, Midtown Chapter
"After living in Atlanta for 5 years I always felt I didn’t have many friends. I It seemed like all I was doing was partying and that was becoming very draining! I found GrlsAtl and have I been exposed to different experiences and I’ve gained sisters! The bond I’ve built and support I’ve gotten and given just warms my heart more than anything!"
